Responsible for the planning and organization of the food and beverage department at Pineapple Valley Golf Club Hua Hin, which consists of Terrace Restaurant, Mulligan's Pub, on course drink kiosks, banqueting, events and outside catering.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To implement the standard operating policies (SOP) in the F&B department as approved by General Manager.
Supports the club management on managing the departments profit and loss.
To create, promote & deliver regular special events for all outlets during the course of the year
To identify new dining trends and F&B promotions or offerings from beverage suppliers.
Conducts, under the guidance of the General Manager such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisal, coaching, counseling and ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
Consults with HR Manager, as appropriate, in performing the above duties.
To work with the Executive Chef to create good co-operation between kitchen, stewarding and F&B Service team
To monitor the service in all outlets throughout the F&B operation.
To attend all department head meetings and all other meetings as requested by the golf club management.
To ensure that all F&B team members are working in an efficient manner.
To establish control systems for all inventories which includes beverages, operating equipment and operating supplies.
To maintain beverage cost of sales at the budgeted figures.
To assist the club management in the preparation of the annual F&B budgets and revenue forecasts.
To create a training schedule for all F&B team members to enhance service delivery skills and product knowledge.
To work with the Chief steward in the active control of operating equipment breakage
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years experience as F&B manager with a career background working in 5-star hotels or high-quality golf club.
Good command of English language, both written & spoken.
Good knowledge of food & beverages with a passion for wines.
