Job Title: Food Technologist
Location: Thailand
The Purpose of Role:
The key job role is to be the R&D Nutrition in the scope of Thailand-Cambodia and Laos, partnering with the business:
Responsible and accountable to deliver R&D elements for innovation/renovation agenda, including saving and simplification plan in close partnership with Cluster Design R&D
Work closely in collaboration and communication with Marketing and Supply Chain on Brands plans and strategy, as the voice of technology in country team, including help identify new trends and technology opportunities
Team Structure:
Reporting to THA Senior Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities:
The main accountabilities of the R&D Nutrition technologist will cover the following:
Developing local jewel Jok products (new flavour development) as per assigned and lead projects for innovation/renovation/localization ensuring on time in full (OTIF) delivery of R&D, including saving and simplification execution to support Thailand, Cambodia and Laos business.
Support R&D deployment activities and FDA registration activities for Thailand, Cambodia and Laos markets., including commercialization documents (formulation, raw materials, etc)
Ensuring product compliance (Formulation, ingredients, artwork approval) according to local regulatory requirements as well as Unilever policies and standards in cooperation with local interfaces (legal, regulatory, Diet & Health)
Support operational partners (quality assurance, customer development and brand building) on technical aspects of the relevant products portfolio/or new product launches
Working closely with the Cluster R&D (RDC) for product development as well as to provide local legal, customer and consumer requirements/insight (local market needs, usage condition, and quality requirements) competitor monitoring ensuring right product design and compliance.
Supervise R&D lab staff during product development end to end, ensuring product design compliance and labactivities run smoothly met with quality standards and safety.
Provide technical support for 3rd party management for Thailand business.
Support R&D Innovation Manager as per project assigned.

RDC Center (Minburi site)
Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:
Experiences & Qualifications
BSc. Or Msc in Food Science, Food Technology, Product Development, Ago-Industry, Food Engineering and Bio-technology.
At least 2 years working experience.
Experience in Foods /product development in particular Savory is preferred.
Have the basic understanding on new product development (NPD) process and delivery with speed, agility and consistently standards result.
Innovative and Can-do mindset on getting things done with a balance capabilities of scientific and consumer insights understanding.
Skills
Batchelor's degree in Food Science/ Food Technology/Product Development or equivalent preferred
Fluent in English
Result Oriented and data-driven
Experimental design, sensory skills, ingredient knowledge.
Ability to work in a multi-functional and multicultural environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
