Responsibilities:
- To ensure compliance to External Manufacturing quality processes to conduct assessment through QRMP/ Technical audit.
- To manage and resolve FSQ issues in External Manufacturers in the portfolio of responsibility.
- To liaise with other External Manufacturing team in the BU, to ensure a coordinated and optimized supplier approval strategy.
- To ensure that all approval/audit schedules in the portfolio are up to date based on risk assessments.
- To ensure that risk reduction/ cost reduction programs are implemented and effective.
- Ensure all External Manufacturers have been assessed against Platinum Rules and drive to 100% compliance with stakeholders.
- To perform assigned tasks in accordance with all FSQ, Environmental, Health & Safety and Ethical & Human Resource Policies, programs and goals.
- Serve as the primary Quality resource for Export requirements from product concept through manufacture and distribution. Maintain the standard procedures to be a guideline for SSEA&HK quality and food safety management.
- Serve as liaison between the Export business team, Export-manufacturing facilities and the Quality community, including both elevating awareness of the Export product portfolio within R&D and ensuring the Export team is aware of key BU projects that may impact the Export portfolio.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations colleagues across multiple BUs and Regions to maximize on-going quality standards.
- Manage tracking and resolution of Export quality issues and customer and consumer complaints.
- Safeguard brand equity both domestically and internationally through continuous improvement in Quality and Food Safety systems and effective risk management.
- Interpret evolving Export (country and customer) requirements to provide guidance to business team and quality to understand impact of changes to current Export portfolio and ongoing projects. Serve as a partner to the cross functional team by staying abreast of Quality policy developments and identify opportunities and implications to the business.
- Support and risk assess requested product claims of existing products in new markets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years relevant Quality Management experience.
- Qualified ISO 9001:2000 Lead Assessor (or equivalent GFSI std.)
- The job holder must have passed a recognized HACCP training course to Intermediate or Advanced level.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a scientific or technical discipline
