Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and versatile Full-Stack Data & Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a combination of data engineering and software development skills to contribute to the entire stack of our platform and other innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, proficiently utilizing Python, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL.
- Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining code quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and data systems.
- Implement robust data validation and quality assurance processes.
- Develop and integrate APIs to connect various systems and data sources.
- Assist in designing and implementing database schemas and data models.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in data engineering and software development.
Required Qualifications
- Thai national with exceptional fluency in both Thai and English (verbal and written).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development and/or data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, BigQuery, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, React, Angular).
- Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with data processing and ETL tools (e.g., Airflow).
- Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, with a focus on data cleansing and enrichment.
- Experience working with ERP systems, particularly those related to retail.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience in the retail industry or working with retail data systems.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal coding initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance and quality assurance practices to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
