EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

Position: General Ledger Specialist (up to Manager)

Headcount: One available position

Report to: Tax Counsel / Counsel

Working hours: 10.00 - 19.00 / Monday Friday

Location: Empire Tower, BTS Chong Non-Sri

Annual leave: Starting at ten days, which shall be raised based on service years

JOB DESCRIPTION

The General Ledger Specialist position would be in charge of the in-house accounting practice in the Asia Pacific regime, reconciling and adjusting accounting transactions in accordance with the accounting standards and guidelines issued by regulatory bodies. This position is obliged to provide ad hoc consultation and reconciliation work for clients as requested occasionally.

Accounting practice

  • Review relevant documents and transactions input to the system by subordinates to ensure that the records have fully complied with applicable accounting standards and guidelines
  • Conclude the monthly, half-year, and end-year reports for the relevant tax filing, i.e., PP30, PP36, PND3, PND 53, PND 51, PND 50, and Aor Sor 6
  • Perform the accounting reconciliation according to the standard or requested by the auditor within the prescribed timeline and
  • Review the cost center and issue the financial report upon request by business units

Consultation services

  • Providing consultation to the client in relation to the accounting practice
  • Research for the guidelines and interpretations of accounting standards to supplement the engagement
  • Communicate with internal users and clients to establish a mutual understanding based on a best-practice basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum bachelors degree in accountancy from a reputable university
  • 2 5 years PQE in accounting practice with robust knowledge of accounting standards and guidelines
  • Experienced in a professional service environment would be a strong advantage
  • Be able to work independently and able to conclude financial statements on your own with the minimum supervision
  • Effective problem-solving skills to identify and correct accounting and financial discrepancies
  • Understand the relevant tax regulations, tax procedures, and be able to blend in the process to maximize the firm and clients benefit
  • demonstrate the ability to communicate accounting information at the professional level in Thai, and if able to do English, would be a strong advantage
  • Possess strong logical and analytical skills, attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and
  • Possess a CPD license is mandatory
