About The Role
We are seeking a young, energetic, and passionate Graphic Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in packaging design, brand corporate identity (CI), and visual merchandising. As a Graphic Design Specialist, you will create visually appealing and innovative packaging designs, develop clear brand CI, and craft compelling point-of-sale materials that captivate our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and visually appealing packaging designs and point-of-sale materials for a wide range of products, considering factors such as size, shape, materials, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the team to understand product requirements, branding objectives, and target market.
- Conduct thorough research and gather insights on competitors, market trends, and consumer preferences to inform the design process.
- Create detailed packaging mock-ups, including dielines, structural designs, and 3D visualizations, using industry-standard software.
- Select appropriate colors, typography, imagery, and graphics to effectively communicate the product's value proposition and brand identity.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as labeling requirements and sustainability guidelines.
- Ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the packaging designs during the manufacturing process while managing materials delivery and tracking systems.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver exceptional results within tight deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback from teams and other stakeholders to refine and improve packaging designs iteratively.
- Adapt to varying project requirements and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate different design styles, aesthetics, and brand identities.
Who Are We Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in design, with a focus on creating impactful and functional design solutions.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design projects across different product types.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as 3D visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp).
- Excellent understanding of packaging design principles, including structural design, materials, printing processes, and production constraints.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, translating brand objectives into compelling packaging designs that resonate with the target audience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts, collaborate with stakeholders, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, color theory, typography, and layout composition.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Open-mindedness and a willingness to explore new ideas, design trends, and emerging technologies in the packaging industry.
