Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Fraud Detection Strategies: Collaborate with the Head of Fraud to establish detection and monitoring strategies across key products (Credit Cards, Sales Finance, Personal Loans) to enable early fraud detection and manage risk exposure effectively.
- Implement Fraud Prevention Technologies: Identify and plan for the necessary fraud prevention tools, ensuring they are cost-effective and technologically robust. Oversee rule creation and deployment within SAS FM and Instinct systems to maximize detection.
- Support New Product Launches: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to implement fraud control measures for new products and services, working alongside Fraud P&D, Fraud MIS, Credit Analysts, Customer Service, and Risk Management teams to ensure comprehensive fraud monitoring.
- Supervise Fraud Monitoring Teams: Oversee SAS FM and Instinct monitoring teams to detect fraud in transactions and applications promptly, aiming to reduce loss exposure and meet department targets such as Fraud to Sale (F2S) and ROI.
- Manage Operational Reporting: Utilize operational reports and MIS tools to set priorities, manage case alerts, and optimize resource allocation. Ensure a balanced False Positive Ratio and maintain system performance in SAS FM and Instinct systems.
- Prepare and Present Performance Reports: Compile fraud monitoring performance reports for management review, working with the Fraud MIS team to refine fraud detection capabilities and decrease false positives.
- Represent Compliance Efforts: Act as a company representative for compliance matters, attending public authority meetings (e.g., Bank of Thailand, Credit Card Club) and coordinating with Visa/MasterCard International on regulatory updates and best practices.
- Promote Fraud Awareness and Training: Cultivate a culture of fraud awareness and deliver training to customer-facing teams, emphasizing their role in fraud prevention.
- Team Development: Supervise, motivate, and coach team members, providing guidance on problem-solving, performance assessment, and professional development to foster skill growth and career progression.
- Support Investigations: Work with the Investigation & Law Enforcement team to ensure effective prosecution and maximize recovery in fraud-related cases, following legal guidance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, business management or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experiences in Fraud monitoring from Banking or Financial Industry.
- At least 5 years of Project Management and/or Project Deliver.
- Strong in Consumer Product Knowledge (Credit Card, Sale Finance, Personal Loan).
- Strong fraud monitoring knowledge both transaction and application.
- In-dept knowledge in wide variety of fraud type and its modus operandi related to the products that under supervision of this position.
- Good knowledge of card scheme's operating rules and regulations enforced by respective card associations (Visa, MasterCard & JCB).
- Management skills leadership, coaching, teamwork, trust building and conflict management.
- Interpersonal skills communication, influencing, negotiation.
- Excellent in English skill both written and speaking.
Work Location: BAY Rama 3 (Head Quarter), Bangkok (Working at Office 2 days per a week)
