Head of Legal

Job descriptions:

• Oversee all legal matters related to the company's international operations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations in each market.
• Advise on cross-border transactions and business activities, including joint ventures, partnerships, and international expansions.
• Lead the legal aspects of M&A transactions, from due diligence to negotiation and integration.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure successful deal execution.
• Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
• Ensure the company adheres to all relevant legal standards and regulations.
• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of various contracts and legal documents.
• Establish and maintain contract management systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Advise the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance issues.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to senior management, providing strategic advice on a wide range of legal and business issues.
• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other advisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher education in Law or related fields
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a strong background in corporate law, international law, and M&A
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a legal department, preferably in a multinational company
• Strong understanding of international business and legal environments.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High ethical standards and integrity
