ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Marketing is a key role to help the company realize its vision through effective and engaging communication with various stakeholders, community building through marketing actions, and the development of sales opportunities for the various sales departments.
As the company's Head of Marketing you will proactively lead the company's marketing and communication efforts and help achieve the company's goals. Your responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and implementing all aspects of the marketing plan and budget. You will manage the marketing team and oversee the general marketing activities, awareness and advertising campaigns, newsletters, PR, sponsorship development, and contribute to the growth of the various sales departments such as Marina, Sales & Leasing, Fractional, MICE & Events, F&B,
You will work closely with the General Manager and all other departments in this role, and will manage a small in-house marketing division and a select group of outsourced partners. We are looking for an experienced team player that is pro-active and hands-on in translating and implementing the company's vision into practical action points.
GENERAL DUTIES
- Craft marketing strategies for the company and each sales department together with the Digital Marketing Manager and various stakeholders
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
- Set, monitor, and report on team goals through monthly marketing reports
- Implement and action all key marketing deliverables
- Design branding, customer personas, positioning, and pricing strategies for the company as a whole and each business segment
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (events, email campaigns, web pages, social media, press, and promotional material)
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Follow up on hiring plans when required, and source outsourced partners when needed
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness together with the various sales departments
- Update and implement a strategic, overall marketing and communications program
- Ensure community relations form a part of the the company marketing and commitment to the community
- Maintain Company's web presence and CRM database
- Develop the marketing calendar; create timely and engaging content, optimized for intended audience and platform
- Increase the financial resources for coordinating effective marketing opportunities through sponsorships, trade-outs, partnership marketing, and merchant involvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing activities in terms of sales results, consumer response, publicity value, resort success, and community support
- Liaise with all of Company's department heads to support their department's marketing needs and drive revenue
- Other duties as assigned by senior management
Qualifications / Skills:
- Relevant industry knowledge and leadership experience as leader Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, or similar role
- Leadership skills with the ability to set, prioritize and implement goals
- A hands-on and proactive mindset
- A strong and effective communicator both verbal and written, with proficiency in English (Thai language skills are an advantage)
- All-round knowledge on offline and online marketing segments
- Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords
- Experience with CRM software
- Professional Certifications such as PCM, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing 360, etc are an advantage
