Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Development:
- Lead the development of original content, ensuring alignment with audience preferences and market trends.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market, competitors, and global/local content trends to identify opportunities for original programming.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with WeTV's brand vision and enhances subscriber growth.
Production Management:
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle, from concept development to post-production, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the production ecosystem, including studios, directors, screenwriters, and talent.
- Ensure high production standards and implement best practices to optimize production workflows.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Track financial performance, ensuring all projects meet ROI expectations and deliver on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, distribution, sales, etc.) to maximize the reach and impact of original productions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team, fostering a creative and productive working environment.
Innovation & Trend Analysis:
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital content, storytelling formats, and production technologies.
- Implement strategies to leverage new formats and platforms to enhance content offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Media Production, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in media production, with a strong track record of delivering successful original content.
- Extensive network within the media and entertainment industry, particularly in production studios, directors, screenwriters, and talent agencies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- A creative mindset with the ability to balance artistic vision with commercial objectives.
