Our client is a Thailand-based strategic investment group that owns several public & privately owned companies across diverse sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture, Aviation, Technology, and Medical Cannabis. The company has been around since 1915, they have over 1,000 employees worldwide, and for the past 115 years, they have been founding companies, investing in businesses, forming partnerships, and incubating new innovative ideas. They are one of the oldest companies operating in the cannabis space.

The client is also a Licensed Medical Cannabis Cultivation Producer located near Bangkok, Thailand. They are dedicated to producing high-quality medical cannabis medicines to meet the growing demand in the healthcare industry both in Thailand and Europe.

As they continue to expand, with international medical cannabis flower sales commencing soon, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Production to oversee all GMP post-harvest operations.

The Head of Production will be responsible for managing all post-harvest operations, including drying, curing, packaging, and quality control processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in uplifting the current quality management system and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all post-harvest operations, including drying, curing, and packaging of medical cannabis products.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for post-harvest operations, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical GMP standards.
• Manage the quality management system (QMS) and ensure that all processes are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead a team of manufacturing technicians and quality inspectors, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cultivation, extraction, and quality assurance, to optimise production processes and maximise product quality.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes, and ensure that manufacturing processes remain up to date with best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality management role within the pharmaceutical / Cannabis industries
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• NO CANNABIS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Compensation

• 40,000 - 70,000 US Dollars Per Year depending on experiance
• All Legal Thai Benefits
