Ensure optimal performance of the Distribution Center by overseeing, coordinating, and guiding Operations, Transportation, and Project Management teams
Supervise daily operations, including load matching, shipment scheduling, and timely delivery, while upholding productivity, quality, and customer service benchmarks.
Establish and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to foster a secure work environment. Develop and execute productivity strategies, encompassing forecast analysis, resource allocation, and budget planning to facilitate business expansion.
Lead business development initiatives, including space management, layout design, and WMS (SAP) implementation.
Evaluate and optimize performance of external partners and vendors to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in collaboration with the procurement team.
Mentor and empower warehouse staff through coaching, feedback, and performance evaluation.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing automation solutions and lean principles to enhance productivity and accommodate volume growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years working experience in Logistics/Warehouse Operations and Project Management;
Experience in new Distribution Centre setup.
Highly analytical, KPI driven and robust strategic mindset;
Ability to work independently and to deploy detailed action plans from general objectives;
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and capability of effectively manage projects & people;
Experience in project management and roll out, including but not limited to the organizational & people change management areas;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
Excellent command of both written and spoken English;
