Job Summary
This role is for a strategic HR professional to collaborate with the HRBP Manager in aligning and executing people strategies with GC's global business goals. The position oversees HR functions across subsidiaries, ensuring synergy across regions, and works with business leaders on workforce planning, succession development, and employee engagement.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Unit heads, affiliates, and leaders to develop workforce planning, succession strategies, and people development programs for high-potential talents and successors, including secondments.
- Manage complex global HR operations to align practices, tackle international HR challenges, and foster a cohesive, high-performing workforce across diverse regions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance work relationships, open communication, engagement, and retention while promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver fit-for-purpose HR programs tailored to business needs, covering recruitment, performance management, career advancement, and secondment processes.
- Facilitate organizational redesign, workforce planning, and succession planning to meet business needs and ensure smooth HR operations in line with GC standards.
- Advise management on performance issues, facilitate appraisals, and support line managers in managing processes such as career and development plans, rotations, promotions, resignations, and so forth.
- Oversee HRM processes to ensure adherence to GC's HR systems
- Other related task as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master's degree in human resources, Political Science or Social Science, Business Administration or related fields with strong people management and interpersonal skills
- 0-5 years Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Employee Relation, and Labor Law are preferable.
- Proven ability to align HR strategies and execution to meet business goals and drive results.
- Proven track record in building engagement, fostering open communication, and driving inclusion and diversity.
- Global mindset and familiarity with international working environments, with flexible time management to accommodate different time zones.
- Strong competencies in collaboration and working with affiliates to create synergies, with the ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments.
- Proficient English skills are a must.
