  • Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Take the lead in spotting and capitalizing on new business prospects within the AI domain. This involves understanding client needs, industry trends, and competitor landscapes to strategically position our offerings.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team; set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and coaching; monitor team performance, offering support and addressing issues to ensure targets are met; and foster a collaborative and motivating environment that promotes professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Lead Generation and Pipeline Management: Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Utilize various channels such as networking events, cold outreach, and digital platforms to identify and nurture potential leads, while maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
  • Relationship Cultivation: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Understand their unique challenges and objectives, and position our AI solutions as integral to their success.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation: Collaborate closely with the technical team to craft compelling proposals that address client needs. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Forecasting: Keep a finger on the pulse of sales metrics and KPIs, regularly monitoring performance against targets. Use data-driven insights to forecast revenue, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth.

Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Engineering is a plus).
  • Over 5 years of project sales experience with a technology or software company.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in the financial sector, banking, insurance, and government.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and service minded.
  • Understand business processes and concepts.
  • Demonstrable business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
  • Have the ability to prioritize tasks as well as multitasking and work independently.
  • Proficient in programs including PowerPoint, MS Office and Excel or Google G-Suite.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success
  • Highly motivated and working well in a team.
  • Self-starter. Have a growth mindset.
