Role & Responsibilities
As the IT Security Engineer are responsible for manage and operate for IT security operations & infrastructure to ensure the availability, longevity, stability and security operation of all TH-ePassport endpoint are stable operate and supporting both frontend & backend business operation unit are running smoothly. IT Security Engineer will provide 2nd level support to Service Desk team and response to NOC calls
Main Activities / Tasks:
- Manage the Security defense tools, appliances and endpoint protection to ensure the security prevention & protection and risk comply with company.
- Manage and operate an overview of IT security infrastructure which including but not limited to security applicance, anti-virus, DLP, Internal & external security monitoring and security's incident response activities.
- Recommend and apply security guideline or practice for IT Operation, routine monitoring the security compliance and report for security and/or improvement. Collaborate with other technical & management team to optimize the security operation as policy and standard.
- Manage and operate the UAM, Centralized Patch and Vulnerability Management system and lifecycle for compliance with security policy, IT infrastructure operation policy. (ISO27001 is anventage)
- Manage and operate the cyber security prevention and PKI management.
- Collaborate with security team for apply and operate the factivity as per company.
Location of job
- Bangkok, Thailand (occasionally Bang Pa-in, Ayutthaya)
- Require sometimes to travel upcountry (Branches)
Knowledge And Skills
- Experiences in Firewall configuration and administration (Fortigate, Palo-Alto, Cisco Firepower)
- Experiences with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Workday, e-Application, Service Desk).
- Knowledge of NGFW, Web Proxy, Email Gateway, MFA, DLP, NGAV, XDR, EDR, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and regular expressions.
- Certification in IT/Network security or relevant vendor certifications.
- Project management knowledge is a plus
- ISO27001 knowledge is a plus
Education, Qualifications, And Special Training
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Windows and Linux-based), security policies, and terminology.
- A professional, positive demeanor and a service-oriented nature.
- Fundamental systems security knowledge.
- Highly motivated with strong communication, presentation, project management, and writing skills.
- Vendor certifications from PaloAlto/Fortinet is a plus
- Able to communicate in English
Experience
- 2 years technical experiences in IT security management.
- Work experience in established organization
- Familiar with managed-IT Vulnerability and project activities
- Familiar with Security Compliance and Risk Management
