We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to our growth strategies. This entry-level role will support our business development initiatives, work closely with senior team members, and ensure the effective implementation of best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Discover and pursue growth points to boost sales and
uncover potential opportunities within Thailand's transport sector.
- Client Outreach & Relationship Management: Engage with transport operators and
sellers, maintaining and nurturing these professional relationships.
- Content Enhancement: Work with 12Go content to improve its effectiveness, aiming to
enhance conversion rates.
- Task Execution: Execute tasks assigned by management efficiently, ensuring
high-quality and timely delivery.
- Best Practices Implementation: Follow established best practices and operational
procedures while proactively addressing and escalating issues when necessary.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data under supervision, ensuring daily accuracy and quality,
and address any booking errors.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance alerts and take prompt action to resolve
issues.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members and external
partners, promptly reporting any issues or missed tasks.
- Continuous Improvement: Learn from feedback, apply constructive criticism to improve
performance, and avoid repeating mistakes.
- Presentation Skills: Develop professional presentation skills to effectively engage with
partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or data analysis
- Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.)
- Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data
- Our tech stack: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus
- Ability to make things happen and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more
- Fluent in English. Additional language skills are a plus
- Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the Philippines would be a plus
- Ability to travel within the region
- Previous remote work and industry related (transportation, OTA) experience would be a plus & Travel experience in the Thailand region would be a plus
