About the role
Reporting to the Country Manager this position is responsible for the management of all aspects of Sales and other, with a concentration on sales and profit growth within Key Accounts in line with company objectives.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Sales Activities
- Sales Performance v Budget and Previous Year
- Relationship development with all key client personnel
- New line review and presentations to accounts
Business Development
Periodic review and business analysis with respect to:
- Range improvement
- Shelf management
- Maintain and improve share of section
- Maintain and improve positioning within section
- Promotional planning
- Maximise return on investment
- Coordinated to enable maximized results
Customer Service Activities
- Plan, implement and control programs to continuously improve customer service levels through administrative procedures, physical distribution, co-ordination ad liaison planning of field force activities.
- Control of claims processing
- Maintain in-store disciplines and execution either directly or indirectly
- To liaise with Brand Managers when dealing with retail customer complaints
Planning Activities
- Prepare budgets and strategies for sales
- Prepare business development plans for category development and improvement of PharmaCare share of category
- Forecasting requirements by account
Management Reporting
- Provide continuous market intelligence
About you
- Key Account experience or exposure is essential
- Exceptional relationship development skills, with the ability to build strong rapport
- Strong negotiation and selling skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategies with measurable implementation
- Strong commercial understanding of business issues and opportunities
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously
- Personality and passion to succeed
- Proactive in approach and meticulously organized
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft applications essential
