Job Description:
The Head of Key Account Business Development (BD) - Thailand Local Institutions (Web3 Expertise) is responsible for driving the company's business development and growth strategies within the Thailand local institutional market, with a specific focus on leveraging Web3 technologies and solutions. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at major financial institutions, banks, and other relevant organisations in Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to penetrate the Thailand local institutional market with Web3 offerings:
- Identify and prioritize target institutions based on market potential and alignment with the company's Web3 solutions
- Devise effective go-to-market plans to reach, engage, and convert these target accounts
- Manage and grow the company's key account portfolio in Thailand with Web3 products and services:
- Proactively engage with senior-level contacts at target institutions to understand their needs and pain points in the Web3 space
- Collaborate cross-functionally to position the company's Web3 offerings as the optimal solution for the Thailand local institutional market
- Negotiate mutually beneficial commercial agreements and secure new business
- Ensure seamless onboarding and delivery of Web3 solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Represent the company and foster strong relationships with industry associations, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders in Thailand on Web3-related matters:
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to raise the company's profile and thought leadership on Web3 in the Thailand market
- Maintain close communication with regulatory authorities and stay abreast of market developments and compliance requirements regarding Web3 technologies
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals focused on the Thailand local institutional market and Web3 offerings:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to execute the market strategy
- Set clear goals, track performance, and provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other business units, product teams, and support functions to ensure seamless delivery and customer success of Web3 solutions:
- Provide valuable market insights and customer feedback to inform the company's Web3 product roadmap and strategy
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and implementation teams to drive effective client engagement and retention
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in business development, account management, or institutional sales within the financial services industry in Thailand
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Web3 technologies, including blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and their applications in the financial sector
- Strong network and relationships with decision-makers at major financial institutions, banks, and other relevant organizations in Thailand
- Demonstrated track record of successfully securing new business and managing key accounts, especially in the Web3 space
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in Thai and English
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
