Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced candidate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant with 4 to 6 years of experience, specializing in financial consolidation, financial statements, Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS), and accounting practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the consolidation of financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS) and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to collect, review, and consolidate financial data in a timely manner.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to established accounting principles and standards.
- Analyze intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring proper elimination and reconciliation during the consolidation process.
- Review subsidiary financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, addressing any discrepancies or issues as necessary.
- Prepare consolidation entries and adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the consolidation process.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and guidelines.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing support and documentation for consolidated financial statements and related disclosures.
- Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in financial consolidation, financial statement preparation, and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS) and other relevant accounting principles and standards.
