Manao Software is seeking a talented and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to head our growing design team. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will not only lead but also actively contribute to creating delightful and user-centered digital experiences across a wide variety of software products.

The Location
The companys HQ is in Chiang Mai, one of the most innovative and creative cities in the world and a hotspot for tech companies. You will be based out of Bangkok (remote) or Chiang Mai (hybrid).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UX/UI Design Team: Allocate team members to various projects and sales activities, ensuring optimal productivity and collaboration.
- Create Company-Wide Design Standards: Establish UX/UI best practices, processes, and templates, including design systems and component toolboxes that will be used across all projects.
- Mentor and Develop the Team: Coach and support team members, enhancing their skills and promoting a strong, cohesive design team.
- Hands-On Design Work: Contribute directly to projects by designing seamless and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications, ranging from small and simple to large and complex.
- Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with our Thai and international customers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and requirements.
Qualifications
- Thais and expats welcome. Visa and work permit will be provided for expats.
- Fluency in English is essential for working with our international clients and team.
- Proven experience leading UX/UI design teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in mobile and web app design.
- A sharp eye for good design, and the ability to step into the user's shoes.
- Deep knowledge of best practices in UX/UI design and up to date on industry trends.
- Ability to establish design standards, processes, and systems across the company.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills to develop team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create intuitive and engaging designs.
