We are currently seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our team.
About this Job:
We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer to provide legal advice and support to our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with overseas vendors, particularly in Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, or Korea. This position reports to the company's board management and offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues, including contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
- Manage and monitor visa and work permit application processes for foreign employees within the Company group.
- Work closely with the HR department to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Assist HR in conducting investigations into employee disciplinary actions, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound procedures.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation for business registration, licenses, permits, and other legal requirements, adhering to established timelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and/or external legal counsel to oversee legal matters and ensure legal compliance in various jurisdictions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends that may impact the company.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- A lawyer's license is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's degree preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Experience working with overseas vendors, particularly in Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, or Korea.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
