Overview of the Job
As a
Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal support across the organization. You will ensure compliance with legal regulations, draft and negotiate contracts, and offer timely legal advice to the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with mid-level experience to grow within a dynamic, innovative company.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze, draft, and negotiate various agreements, including NDAs, service agreements, data protection agreements, software licenses, and re-seller agreements.
- Review and finalize contracts in both English and Thai to ensure compliance with laws and company standards.
- Provide accurate legal counsel to internal stakeholders on matters such as corporate law, labor law, and tax regulations.
- Support the legal team in developing strategies for mitigating legal risks.
- Ensure internal policies comply with current legal standards and assist in their implementation.
- Monitor and communicate changes in laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using appropriate tools and resources.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal records and databases.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and public authorities as required.
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You'll be successful if you have:
- 2-5 years of professional legal experience in corporate law or related fields.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, labor law, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data protection and privacy laws is desirable.
- Exposure to intellectual property and foreign business law is advantageous.
