Job Summary
Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of a mixed-use property, which includes residential, commercial, and retail spaces. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing security personnel, and ensuring a safe environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.
Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and protocols.
- Manage and supervise a team of security officers.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain security reports and records.
- Train security staff on emergency procedures and security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee access control systems and procedures.
Key Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a mixed-use property or similar environment.
- Proven experience in managing security teams and developing security protocols.
- Strong knowledge of security systems and technologies.
- Experience in emergency response and crisis management.
- Good command in English and excellent in communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
