Job Summary:
Plan implement coordinate and manage control system of Security Safety Health & Environmental according to engineering principals to ensure that the safe working conditions and processes are maintain, followed and complied with legal requirements and other requirements of company accordance with Thailand's government standard. Communications on accidents registered and promote a safety, environmental, health and security attitude. Act as a representative of the Company to coordinate with related parties. Report to Company's Director. The scope covers all activities & business units of Tipco Asphalt Construction Business: Maintenance, Construction and mega Projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the SSHE team to support Operation on site regarding security safety health, and environment issues, and provide the necessary advice to the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with all supporting services (procurement, HR, accounting, mechanic center, etc) to maintain and enhance safety standards and performance.
- Manage the compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Security Safety Health & Environment Management.
- Interpret safety regulations in construction safety and communicate accordingly.
- Implement, update and improve SSHE Company policy & procedures
- Spearhead detailed incident/accident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
- Investigate accidents, injuries, or occupational hazards/illnesses to determine causes and put in place preventive measures.
- Manage communication on accidents registered and promote a Security Safety, Health and Environmental attitude.
- Responsibility and control the implementation of the safety strategy plan and safety measures in the company's work.
- Develop environment management System compliance with Laws and Regulation.
- Maintain and build relationships with external organizations such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams in order to facilitate emergency responses.
- Recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees exposure to work hazards.
- Inspect facilities, plants, machinery, worksite, and safety equipment in order to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- Design, conduct or coordinate worker training courses that cover safety law and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- Evaluate adequacy and relevance of existing policy, Implement corrective action health and safety violations.
- Conduct of HSE report (external and internal) and present to executive.
- Organize training at site / office for company employees in accordance with the law / client / owner requirement and maintain updated the training list
- Prepare, implement and maintain up to date the SSHE plan for each project and ensure its approval with owner as well as its implementation at site.
- Propose standard improvement and ensure its application on every jobsite.
- Organize all SSHE events through the company based on policy / company standard in cooperation with site management team / HR / procurement team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety and certified as a safety officer at professional level.
- At least 8-15 years of experience in management of security safety, health & environmental.
- Good command in spoken and written in English and computer literacy.
- Experience of big project in construction is a must.
- This position requires mobility to visit construction sites and facilities.
