Position Overview:
The role is responsible for providing comprehensive leadership and oversight in quality management for Ambient operations. The objective is to ensure that all products meet customer, safety, health, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for Ambient Quality in line with corporate goals.
- Allocate resources to meet key quality objectives.
- Product Quality Assurance:
- Ensure products meet all quality and safety requirements by establishing stringent quality standards and controls.
- Engage in the product development process to enforce these standards.
- Compliance with External Quality Standards:
- Define and enforce compliance with global and local quality standards (e.g., ISO, IFS, BRC).
- Lead internal audits to maintain adherence to these standards.
- Quality Issue Resolution:
- Manage and resolve widespread quality issues, escalating to senior management as needed.
- Establish processes to manage quality-related changes and prevent issue recurrence.
- Customer Feedback Management:
- Design and oversee feedback systems to address and escalate quality concerns from customers effectively.
- Supplier Quality Assurance:
- Define and enforce supplier quality standards, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
- Lead supplier audits and manage resolution of any quality issues identified.
- Unified Quality Management System:
- Oversee the development and consistency of the quality management system across all Ambient operations.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the quality team, fostering a positive work culture.
- Develop internal leadership and improve employee engagement.
Core Objectives:
- Establish a framework for continuous quality improvement and review performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality standards in product development, production processes, and supplier management.
- Drive effective resolution of quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction through proactive feedback mechanisms.
