About the Role Bounce is hiring a
Market Launcher (
Sales Representative) focused on supply acquisition for Thailand. You will be responsible for signing businesses onto Bounce's platform and covering primarily the Thai market, through a combination of inside and outside sales activities (largely focused on outside-sales). This is a full-time position, based in Thailand reporting into the APAC HQ in Singapore.
Scope and Contribution Expectations
- You will work closely with your manager to identify supply gaps, and/or opportunities for business expansion in Thailand
- You will grow Bounce's supply network (partner stores) and close identified supply gaps
- You will be expected to exercise any means most effective for acquisition (through cold calls, emailing, messaging, social outreach etcetera to prospective clients)
- Provision and sharing of potential generated leads from Bounce to you is a bonus; you are expected to deliver your own leads being the in-market expert
- You are responsible for the full cycle of the sales from discovery call, sales pitch, close, creating the account, to onboarding the partner with utmost excellence to ensure success from the get go
- You are accountable for your new partner's performance in the short-term after your onboarding is complete
- You are expected to be proficient with reporting progress across your own sales funnel to your manager, and share insights where valuable
- If opportunities arise, you may be required to switch gears to support another market as a secondary priority (your primary focus is still on Thailand)
Our Ideal Candidate..
- Communication: Must be professionally proficient in English and Thai (any other languages are bonuses). Ability to clearly document and organise, problem-solve, and provide clarity in everyday communication
- Direct Experience: Mandatory 2-3 years of experience with full cycle sales in a startup/ scale-up environment, with proven records in ability to sell to both small-and-medium businesses, and manage conversations with larger enterprises/ chains
- Systematic Velocity: High-energy individual with a strong desire to learn, and be very action-oriented backed with sound thought processes and insights even amongst incomplete information, towards achieving top results
- Fearless: Comfortable with a high volume of sales calls & possess confidence in approaching businesses starting cold. Comfort with rejection / hearing no is necessary
- Personable: Charismatic, positive, can-do attitude over the phone and in-person
- Strong Ethics: In work, someone who's looking to make material contributions directly to the company's success with utmost integrity, and who lives and breathes success for clients/ partners
- Self-starter, also a team player: with the drive to self-manage and methodically work towards goals, but also able to provide support to the team
- Deep interest in Sales, Marketing, and being part of hectic, fast-paced, yet monumental growth stories at startups
- Ability to travel across Thailand to close deals where opportunities are
