About the role
Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and technically adept Marketing Automation Developer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in computer science, experience in marketing automation platforms, and Salesforce expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing automation strategies that align with our clients needs, leveraging their Salesforce skills to enhance CRM processes and overall marketing effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Automation Development:
- Design, develop, and implement marketing automation workflows and campaigns.
- Create and manage automated email marketing sequences, lead nurturing processes, and customer segmentation strategies.
- Integrate marketing automation platforms with existing systems and databases to ensure seamless data flow and campaign execution.
- Salesforce Integration and Customization:
- Utilize Salesforce to develop and deploy marketing automation solutions, including custom objects, fields, and automation rules.
- Build and customize Salesforce reports, dashboards, and analytics to track marketing performance and provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce integrations with marketing automation tools and other third-party applications.
- Technical Development and Execution:
- Write, test, and deploy code for marketing automation processes using languages such as JavaScript, SQL, or other relevant technologies.
- Ensure that all automation processes are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to marketing automation and CRM systems.
- Strategy and Analysis:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to define automation goals and strategies that align with overall marketing objectives.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in marketing automation and CRM.
- Client Support and Training:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for clients regarding marketing automation and Salesforce solutions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for clients and internal teams on marketing automation tools and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing automation solutions.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, including configuration, customization, and integration. Salesforce certification(s) (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the capability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
- Passion for staying abreast of emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies.
