ROLE: Marketing Manager Marketing manager responsibilities include tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with web analytics tools and be able to turn creative ideas into effective advertising projects. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitors. Collaborate with the executive team to define marketing objectives and strategies aligned with company goals. Develop comprehensive marketing plans encompassing digital, content, social media, and traditional channels. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns. 2. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing marketing team. Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the marketing department. Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support to execute marketing initiatives effectively. 3. Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels. Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure alignment with company values and messaging.Monitor brand sentiment and proactively address any negative feedback or issues. Continuously enhance brand visibility through strategic partnerships, events, and sponsorships. 4. Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy to attract and engage target audiences. Oversee the creation of compelling content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and infographics. Optimize content for search engines and ensure alignment with SEO best practices. Leverage content marketing to establish thought leadership and drive inbound leads. 5. Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, PPC, and display advertising. Utilise marketing automation tools to streamline processes and nurture leads. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results. Stay updated on digital marketing trends and technologies to remain competitive. 6. Lead Generation: Implement lead generation strategies to drive qualified leads for the sales team. Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns. Utilise marketing analytics and CRM systems to track lead quality and conversion rates. Continuously refine lead generation tactics based on data-driven insights 7. Customer Engagement: Develop customer engagement strategies to enhance retention and foster loyalty.Implement customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and improve the customer experience. Create targeted marketing campaigns to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers. Establish customer advocacy programs to leverage satisfied customers as brand ambassadors. 8. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI. Track expenses and report on budget performance regularly to the executive team. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize marketing spend across channels. Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints while maintaining marketing effectiveness. 9. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on marketing performance, including key metrics, ROI, and campaign effectiveness. Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Present findings to the executive team and make data-driven recommendations for future strategies. Implement A/B testing and other experimentation techniques to optimize marketing tactics. 10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in marketing. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the marketing team. Regularly review and refine marketing strategies based on feedback, market changes, and performance data. Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation to drive continuous improvement in marketing initiatives. Qualifications: 5 to 7 years of overall marketing experience 3+ years of experience in senior marketing roles, preferably in the SaaS industry. Proven track record of driving successful marketing strategies and campaigns in a technology/SaaS environment. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring marketing teams. In-depth understanding of SaaS business models, target markets, and customer personas. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable marketing plans. Excellent project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse marketing metrics and make data-backed decisions. Proficiency in digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing automation platforms. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Up-to-date knowledge of SaaS and technology industry trends.
