Roles and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision-cut parts
- Read blueprints, specifications, or instructions to determine setup requirements
- Calibrate and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting and shaping
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on machines
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Milling Machine Operator
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time
