What you'll do:
Model Shop Technician supports Fabric Care and Dish Care products, prototype build according to product specification and requirement from OMODFlow. Responsible for Jig and fixture making support testing and assembling, Test machine, Laboratory facilities support. Moreover, evaluate/analysis test results and reporting.
In detail, you will:
- Prepare lab activities related to Model shop
- Areas of responsibility are Component/Product Prototypes, Protos, RFID and PID management, Technology & Labs facilities, and Jig and Fixture
- Execute tests according to agreed instructions, including International and Electrolux internal standards
- Set up and prepare tests in terms of equipment, samples, area, materials, and any other conditions necessary to properly complete the evaluation
- Undertake assigned technical tasks of low complexity under the supervision of professional colleagues
- Use existing procedures to support the daily laboratory activities
- Work on practical tasks following established procedures with moderate/limited guidance
- Prioritize and organize own work to deliver to agreed deadlines
- Apply knowledge/skills to standard day to day activities; understands how the team collaborates with others to accomplish team objectives
- Perform necessary mechanical usage and maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Set up and interpret PM schedules, ensuring equipment is maintained in working order and according to standard
- Identify need for replacement equipment and informs supervisor
- Operate CNC machine according to CAM program
- Operate machine in shop according to drawing for prototype part and Jig fixture
- Ensure component materials and equipment are inspected, inventoried, and tested prior to send to project owner, and ensures completion of necessary quality control
- Inspect and supervise subcontracted or support to meet project demands, for of or in response to work permit.
- Ensure that all tools in the Prototype shop are properly maintained and maintained prior to use.
- Fabric Care Product Development according to product requirements, problem analysis and solving
- Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities
- Support Consumer Magazines activities
- Document control according to ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO 14001.
- Model Shop facilities and equipment's control
- Model Shop capabilities and improvement planning
Qualifications:
- High vocational, High School degree, or equivalent through acquired technical knowledge
- 0-2 years of related work experience. Fresh graduate is welcomed.
- Products knowledge Fabric Care and Dish Care
- Knowledge of Bill of Material (BOM)
- Electrical and Electronics components
- Test Equipment and Data Acquisition
- Product Safety test
- Safety Rules
- Skill in CNC operation, mechanics equipment, and safety test
Where you'll be:
You will be based in our Rayong plant and report to Mechanics, Validation & Model Shop Manager.
