Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven New Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, and supporting the sales team in converting these leads into successful business relationships. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a strong understanding of the event management and marketing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including online research, outreach and networking.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Client Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and social media to generate interest in our services.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the lead database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing proposals, presentations, and other pre-sales activities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Reporting: Track and report on lead generation activities and results, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Knowledge of the event management industry is a plus.
