Global Jewelry Manufacturing (Thailand) GJM is a subsidiary of Gabriel & Co. in Thailand.We produced 14K Gold with full functions of Jewelry manufacturing line; from Casting until Plating.We have dedicated 119 employees as of August 2023 with 4 senior management members.
The Role
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to consolidate orders and plan production schedules
- Conduct research to enhance production effectiveness and address challenges
- Conduct assessments to identify procedural limitations that minimize work efficiency
- Monitor and control a production process to adjust operations in event of a problem
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and equipment required for manufacturing
- Manage inventory of finished goods, raw materials and gemstones.
- Regular follow-up on inventory entries to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Control the processes of gold egg and gold dust refining with accurate records.
- Expertise in maximizing value and minimizing waste from scrap pieces.
- Ensure labour charges are correct and inform China finance team if there is any discrepancy
- Implement measures to enhance efficiency in the stone department, including vendor management.
- Control and minimize broken/missing stones, ensuring product quality.
- Ensuring the quantity of orders aligns with the budget constraints.
- Oversight of open/pending orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and alignment with budget constraints
- Shipment of finished goods or semi-finished goods to the regional shipping center, headquarters or directly to the customers while ensuring compliance with BOI ( Board of Investment) regulations
- Coordinate shipment of goods and stones while ensuring compliance with BOI regulations
- Handle production-related inquiries and customer complaints
- Generate insightful reports to guide decision making (such as status of orders, process logs, factory inventory report, scrap details etc..) for the related functions &management team.
- Verification of NAV (CRM) data, reporting mismatches and backlogs for accuracy and relevance
- Ensure data quality and verify updated data in NAV ( ex: Gross weight of FG, updated BOM etc..)
- Successfully execute projects with a focus on documentation and timelines adherence
Ideal Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
2.3-5 years of management experience in operations in the manufacturing sector
3.8-10 years experience in Jewellery manufacturing
- Experience in managing warehouse of inventory control of precious raw materials and finished products
- Strong communication and leadership skills with all levels
- Good command in both written and spoken English and Thai. Proficiency in Chinese an added advantage
- Mature, confident and has good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Analytical and attention to details
- Strong problem solving skills and decisive
- High level of integrity and business ethics
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office skills
