Job Overview
We are hiring a Planning Engineer (HVAC) to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ltd. You will be responsible for planning, estimation and costing of HVAC projects. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in planning and Estimation of HVAC / MEP projects.
- Proficiency in project estimation and preparing bill of quantities (BOQ).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC / MEP systems, equipment, and materials.
- Experience in reviewing technical documents and managing procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in HVAC project planning and execution.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in HVAC systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and schedules for HVAC projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and consultants to understand project requirements and design HVAC systems accordingly.
- Prepare project estimates and bill of quantities (BOQ) for HVAC installations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for obtaining quotations and managing procurement of HVAC equipment and materials.
- Review and evaluate technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and documents related to requests for quotation (RFQ).
- Supervise the implementation of HVAC projects to ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any issues or challenges.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to project activities, including progress reports, technical reports, and project completion reports.
- Collaborate with the project management team to coordinate project resources and ensure efficient project execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to HVAC systems.
