Job Description
Position Overview:
The Hostess is responsible for receiving all incoming guests and owners by giving a courteous greeting, ensuring a positive first impression and efficient processes for handling clients, and babysitting their children. The Hostess is also responsible to ensure that guest refreshment bars and owner refreshment trays are stocked as well as maintaining cleanliness environment of the Kid Club.
This position also assists the additional administrative functions listed below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and owners upon arrival, always maintain a professional, efficient and friendly image,
- Pre-prepare owner refreshments, keep refreshment bars fully stocked and cleaned at all times,
- Check presentation area and waiting lounge area to make sure things are always neat and orderly,
- Wash glasses and keep kitchen in order,
- Ensure Preview Centre is clean and tidy at all times,
- Assist in answering a busy multi-line phone system, transfer calls and take messages,
- Take care of guests and owners children throughout the presentation,
- Ensure hygiene standards of Kid Club are maintained at all time,
- Ensure children are taken care with full attention under secure environment.
Qualifications
Key Performance Indicators:
- Maintain high level of Guest Servicing when interacting with guests throughout the presentation.
- Attainment of high internal and external customer satisfaction,
- Has good standards of grooming, personal hygiene, dress code and maintains punctuality,
- An active and positive team member.

Other:
- Must be available to work during the operational hours of the site Preview Centre as well as until all the required paperwork for the days operation has been completed if required.
Education &/or Experience:
High school graduate A Minimum of six months to one year related education and training/experience; plus business and/or administrative education.
