Job Description

AMW is an EMS company manufacturing with a strong focus on power electronics systems including magnetics, PCB assemblies then box-build and product integration, such as DC/DC converters, SMPS, battery chargers or inverters. AMW Program Management department is in charge of customer account management and business development. As part of this group, we are looking to expand our capability by opening a new job opportunity for a Business Development Manager located in our main facility in Thailand. This role is the manager of the pricing/quotation team for all new businesses as well as developing company communication with customers and prospects in support of company Sales representative who are located overseas. This strategic position will be leading and building the company value proposal and portfolio of offer (PCBA, magnetics, R&D, etc.) for business growth according to customers and market expectation.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Technical bachelor degree (Industrial or Electronics Engineering) and/or Masters preferred.
  • 5+ years of BOM and/or data processing in EMS industrial Environment experience.
  • Good communication skills, English mandatory, other language is a plus.
  • Strong ability for pre-processing of data and technical documentation (BOM, drawings, assembly instructions, etc)
  • Project Management experience, costing models, Product life cycle management is a plus
  • Experience in EMS industry recommended
  • Experience in transverse coordination with other departments within an organization.
  • Can-do attitude, ability to think out-of-the-box to propose solutions, business development mindset expected
  • Ability to read the technical drawing include technical vocabulary.
  • MS Office, MRP, ERP, MS Excel knowledge mandatory

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Build AMW value proposal to prepare customer quotation

- Execute costing models applicable to all AMW scope to build customer quotation

- Pre-processing of input customer information

- Build rapid estimation costing

2.Internal communication and coordination

- Coordinate internal action for quotation build with other department involved (sourcing, process, quality, logistics, etc.)

- Consolidate internal feedback to build customer offer (technical, quality, process, logistics, other than cost)

- Consolidate internal feedback to build customer offer COST

- Analyze internal value proposal and Challenge AMW department proposal to reach customer expectation

- Define project scope and build Step 0 for APQP project documentation

- Build Customer quotation for review with Customer representative before submission

3. Reporting to RFQ Manager

- Weekly RFQ Report to RFQ Manager

4. Be able to perform other jobs by assignment.

- Carry out activities as command level informed.

  • Work 5 days, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
