Job Purpose
To supervise, run 1st production batch at Production. To coordinate technical for formulation and process improvement. To lead trouble shooting for problem batch. To lead continuous improvement activities at Production. To support production supervisor in implementation QMS (ALPS; ISO system) at shop floor. To review, revise and update ISO master documentation for Production. To review and feedback to team loss & waste impact to production Daily. To prepare report monthly for: Process Yield loss; %RFT; MTO, Problem batch; Batch cycle time.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate Technical when introducing new product formulation; run trial batch at production.
- Observe, record how worker make a production batch. Co-ordinate Technical to improve batch cycle time; Co-ordinate production supervisor to improve productivity.
- Coordinate Project team to streamline the production process via modification or introduction new equipment at production
- Coordinate QA; CI to deploy QMS; ALPS programs at production. FI ITF for production team.
- Feedback & coordinate with related departments within Company to improve productivity, right first time, reduce/eliminate problem batch
- Write work instructions; forms and register these documents at ISO system.
- Develop forms for data collection. Daily review critical data for continuous improvement purpose.
- Provide training to new production worker production system.
- Provide training for production worker according to approved training matrix.
- Review annual training matrix at production & submit proposal to direct Manager for annual training matrix to production team.
- Act as a leader for investigation all quality issue at production.
- Trainer production shop floor ISO documentation; ALPS knowledge; Provide training follow approved training matrix by using approved training materials.
- Other tasks assigned from direct Manager when business needed.

- Bachelor degree in chemical.
- Strong computer skill & good communication in English for both oral & writing.
- Having at least 2 years working experience in paint industry or related field; Experience in working at R&D QC; Production is preferred.
- Be familiar with equipment process.
- Must have ability to work independently to complete job assignment.
- Strong problem solvent skill. Having logical thinking, presentation skill. Green belt certified is preferred.
- Must be a team player and be self -motivated with customer focus.
- Knowledge of SAP or other formulation application software.
- Understanding material specification & material testing method.
- Read and understand well material MSDS; Product PSDS; HMIS code.
- Process safety knowledge in chemical industry.
- Knowledge of ISO9001; 14001; 18001 is essential.
