A well-known automotive brand is seeking for Procurement Director who will oversee and manage all procurement activities, ensuring that the supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the company's objectives.
- Analyze market trends and conditions to ensure competitive pricing and optimal contract terms.
- Collaborate with senior management to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, ensuring they meet the brand standards for quality and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings and value for the company.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering partnerships that benefit both parties.
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Implement and manage procurement software and tools to streamline operations.
- Monitor and report on KPIs to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities.
- Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring expenditures are within approved limits.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing, purchasing and vendor consolidation.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement within automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
