Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Ensure all employees adhere to industry-standard health and safety guidelines, creating a safe working environment.
- Resource Management: Oversee and optimize machine resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Team Leadership: Manage and support a workforce of 500+ employees, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Cost Efficiency: Implement strategies to reduce expenses and enhance productivity across all product lines.
- Goal Setting: Establish and communicate ambitious production goals to key personnel, driving the team towards continuous improvement.
- Production Planning: Develop and oversee production plans that align with demand forecasts, ensuring timely and efficient production cycles.
- Employee Support: Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees, encouraging professional growth and development.
- Problem Solving: Communicate any issues or obstacles to senior management promptly, ensuring swift resolution.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement workflow policies that enhance efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
- Staff Scheduling: Create effective schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels at all times.
- OEE Monitoring: Continuously monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to maintain high performance standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste using Industry 4.0 technologies
- Schedule Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to daily schedules, optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in production control in any manufacturing industry
- Experience in controlling shop floor operators of more than 300 persons
- Ability to use English to communicate.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, team-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to coach and motivate employees
- Strong leadership skills
