Project Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities::

• Primary interface with customers on quality related matter
• Being responsible for the complaint management for both customers and suppliers ensures that complaints are managed in due time by using adequate problem-Solving techniques and arrange containment actions
• Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team (e. g. internal, supplier, customer, cost recovery, customer warranty and customer quality audits)
• Analysis to develop methods to reduce the risks and reduce the cost of poor quality of the organization.
• Control the quality of products according to company target and customer requirement
• Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are
• Develop and document product inspection/testing procedures and work instructions, keep track of quality standards and specify the requirements
• Educate operators and production associations on quality/compliance and procedure
• Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare and execute PPAP submissions for new programs and changes, to execute and flawless launch APQP and PPAP
• Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators
• Follow up to take Corrective and Improvement while problem occurred and control 4M change as requirement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years in automotive QA or related fields (Automotive factory).
• Language: Good - Fluent in English communication both speaking and writing, Chinese speaking is a plus
• Computer : Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Auto CAD, DWG are preferred
• Automotive knowledge in IATF 16949 requirements, Quality Core Tools such APQP, FMEA, CONTROL PLAN, PPAP, SPC, MSA. (IATF 16949 Lead Auditor / VDA 6.3 Process Audit Certification is advantage)
• Good interpersonal relations, communication, teamwork, collaboration, positive thinking, punctual and responsible
• Ability to do multi-task, use initiative and to work well under pressure / to deadlines.
