Job Description

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all quality assurance and control activities within the Thailand region. This role involves developing and implementing quality strategies, leading quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement regional quality strategies and plans aligned with global quality objectives.
  • Establish quality goals and metrics, and monitor progress against these benchmarks.
  • Identify and prioritize quality improvement opportunities across the region.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent application of quality standards across all sites and operations in the region.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Compliance and Audits:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, and manage follow-up actions to address audit findings.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.

Supplier Quality Management:

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality criteria.
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and conduct regular supplier audits.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Customer Focus:

  • Address customer complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze customer satisfaction data and implement measures to enhance customer experience.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their quality expectations and requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in quality management within Thailand region.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
