Job Purpose
- Improve RFT on total quality cost improvement and cause of batch reject in SSA.
- Control the quality of raw material and finished product to achieve quality performance for SSA.
- Cooperated with manufacturing/technician department to fulfill customer OTIF for SSA.
- Set up quality system and execute internal audit to ensure the suitability and effectiveness of quality system align with ISO standard.
- Manage and monitor subordinate safety behavior, ensure to meet department safety performance
Key Accountabilities
- Involve and lead South Asia powder coatings site key quality incidents and escalated customer complaints, non-conformities on root cause analysis and set up preventive actions with all relevant parties when required.
- Harmonize and be a bridge of best practice sharing relevant to quality to all the sites across the region.
- Organize routine meeting to review safety/quality performance and stress days focus.
- Manage the raw material and product quality and achieve set targets.
- Set up department procedure document and ensure that is executed.
- Support root cause analysis on customer, internal process and product related issues and drive corrective/preventive actions to eliminate the problems at the source.
- Provide training regarding basics and key subjects in quality tools for subordinates.
Experience
- Bachelor/Master degree major in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer
- At least 10 years QC/QA management working experience in chemical industry, coatings is preferred
- Familiar with Quality System, ISO9000, TS16949
- Mature, self-motivated, good communication skill and well-organized
- Related operation excellence experience, Green Belt or above is preferred
- Have good Project Management Experience (Change Management) within the (cross) business units or functions
- Have People Management Experience as a hierarchical manager to a team
- Know Lean manufacturing, 5S, VM and know how to implement the operation excellence in operation
- Good PC Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good English skill in reading, writing, listening and speaking
