Job Purpose
Recipe System and Formulator Technologist is responsible to formulate recipes for Innovation Project, DiB, COGS Projects according to required product design framework in compliance with Safety & Nutritional Guidelines, assuring that they will be sustainable and feasible for the business. Recipe System and Formulator Technologist is key user for ARA, Veritas, SAP and local application in order to deliver formulation/recipe part.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering on time with Innovation Process, recipes Safe for Design in compliance in nutrition, food safety and production (sustainability).
- Accountable for delivering optimized recipes solutions supporting Innovation Project, DiB, COGS Projects, while delivering the designed product framework and finance project targets and in the formulation.
- Leading for formulation framework development workstreams per target timeline
- Responsible to correct PPP out of target results and to correct when necessary, working collaboratively along Product Developer (accountable).
- Responsible to provide any feedback to Product Framework in order to achieve project CSF.
- Supporting applicable factories when facing issues with non-conformances related to recipe & nutrition and crisis management for contingencies.
- Accountable for recipe implementation tracking processes & required documentation and communication with stakeholders.
- Responsible to design premixes if required in Innovation and DiB Projects or in case of Nutritional deviations.
Context and Scope
The role work closely with PD and interact with Process, SRA, Quality, Operation, Commercial, Supply chain, Innovation & Lead formulation to design formulation whenever there is innovation, renovation, business continuity and Value Leadership Project, or consumer related request such as compliance, complain, food safety risk, etc.
Recipe System and Formulator Technologist is the key contact to optimize formulation for those situations with great knowledge of both product and market needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Food science & Technology, Food Engineer, Science
- 1-2 years experience in Food manufacturing Factories, Preferably in R&D or Quality
- Good management on document and data handling.
- Computer literacy is a must.
- Basic statistic knowledge is required
- Good in English and communication
- Good in excel and rest of Microsoft offices
- Good in Six Sigma (Prefer)
