Job Description
To support the needs of the regional business to develop a detailed marketing strategy to drive positioning and promotion of Minor Hotels and its brands in Asia, and then lead the implementation of key elements of that strategy to deliver business results and support hotels within the region.
- Develop and lead the strategy and execution of plans for Minor Hotels and its brands in Asia, working with the hotel, divisional and global brand teams
- Support the hotel teams within the region to develop and execute annual Marketing plans
- Develop and execute regional plans for social media activation and oversee hotel-level social media activities
- Be the Brand Guardian in all projects related to the marketing of the brands and the hotels across the division
- Maintain brand identity across all touchpoints at a regional and property level
- Develop and supervise regional Marketing budgets and forecasts for the hotels in the division
- Provide pre-opening support (planning, budgets etc) for new and rebranded properties in the region
- Manage the Marketing agencies as required
- Develop and support the region and hotels to implement campaigns (strategic, awareness, teaser campaigns etc.)
- Seek out opportunities for sponsorship, partnerships and cross-promotions for the benefit of the brand and/or properties within the region
- Work closely with the global marketing team to develop and implement tactical campaigns (traditional and digital) at both a brand and hotel level across the region
- Provide Brand induction and support with the strategy to new marketing members of the team (for new hotels or existing ones)
- Conduct ongoing market research on relevant competitor hotel brands within the industry and keep property/corporate teams abreast of competitor activity across all markets
- Provide guidance and direction to E-Commerce team regarding web content and digital advertising
- Provide support, guidance and input on property photo and video shoots to ensure they are in accordance with brand guidelines, and assist with the sign-off of final assets
- Support stakeholders as needed for business reviews
- Provide direction and support to hotel marketing teams to learn, grow and develop in their roles
- Oversee corporate and brand collateral materials developed by team members
- Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (institutions, government entities, owners, business partners) required to ensure the delivery of diverse hotel and brand strategies
- Monitor the actual status of social, media achievements against the potential achievements and agreed-upon action plans
- Develop monthly and annual reports to showcase results, highlight achievements and suggest solutions to any issues
- Drive sustainability initiatives in-order to achieve company goals and ensure quality execution at a hotel level.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Brand Management, Marketing Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Experience
- Min 10 years in hospitality or other consumer-focused sector, preferably within a large multinational company
- Strong knowledge and experience in the luxury hospitality sector
- Experience in luxury sector outside of hospitality an advantage

- Experience within a multi-national operating environment with Asia market knowledge
- In-depth analytical skills, strategic thinking, strong communication and presentation skills
- Advanced computer literacy and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office experience in using CMS and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills (English language)
- Solutions-oriented self-starter with the desire to grow
- Solid expertise in creating and implementing media outreach and response strategies for both offline and online media
- Ability to travel frequently
