Our client is a multinational company in security technology business. The company has operation in more than 100 countries worldwide. Our client is looking for a strong candidate to take Regional Sales Manager role. This position will be responsible for Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Laos and Myanmar. The role will report to Regional Director APAC.
Responsibilities:
Responsible and accountable for the sales revenues generated throughout the territory and as a result, contributes to the overall generation of growth and sales revenue throughout the region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region.
Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and offer tailored solutions.
Strategize on the channel development plan and the vertical business plan to improve the penetration of business in the assigned region
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales to set sales goals and develop action plans.
Develop and maintain timely, accurate and detailed sales information and forecasts in the company sales reporting system (Oracle CRM).
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
Manage the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Oversee the implementation of promotional campaigns and other sales initiatives within the region.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or relevant area. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business strategy development or related field
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
