Trade Responsibilities:
- Manage trade-related projects, process improvements, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the Trading Division.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade operations, minimize risks, and enhance the operational efficiency of projects.
- Stay abreast of trade policies and regulations, and provide guidance and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between trade activities and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on regulatory product compliance matters, interpreting and applying relevant laws and regulations to business operations
- Lead regulatory assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and developments, assessing their impact on business operations and advising senior management accordingly.
- Assess gap analyses to ensure alignment with new or revised laws, regulations and industry standards actively leading strategy development and implementation in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly the Regulatory Affairs division, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate databases with updated records of product compliance activities and documentation.
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Cultivate relationship with testing laboratories, certification bodies and local authorities.
- Assess suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance, guaranteeing adherence to agreed service standards.
