Job Description

SPEA Thailand, Subsidiary of SPEA S.p.A Group - worldwide leader in the design and implementation of testing systems for microchips and electronic boards - is looking for a Repair Technician for its Office in Bangkok.

The SRA will be placed within the customer support team, it will be involved in the analysis and reporting of RMA (Return Matherial Authorization) and repair activities of:

Test equipments of our customers (eg. MEMS, PMIC, Smart Card, RFID, power devices such as IGBT and MOS)

Automation equipments for the handling and test of semiconductors (Pick&Place handlers, Reel2Reel handlers)

The task involves a continuous relationship with SPEA customers and the internal repair center.

Activities:

Gather all documentation and photos related to each repair activity

Work with Service and Repair team on solutions that are satisfactory to the customer and cost effective to the company

Maintain logs of RMAs and repairs and generate periodic reports of fault analysis and MTBF (Mean Time between Failure)

Ability to independently follow a repair instruction

Calibration capability of electronic parts

Calibration capability of mechanical parts

Assembly capacity of electronic parts

Assembly capacity of mechanical parts

Board and wiring interconnection capacity

Compliance with occupational safety standards

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Knowledge of the operation of electronic components

Ability to prepare reports related to faults and malfunctions

Ability to detect inefficiencies in the repair process of an electronic module or part

Ability to detect a fault

Speed of fault detection

Effective resolution of the fault

Requirements:

High school degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering

Good knowledge of excel and power point for periodic reports

Good knowledge of spoken and written English

Knowledge and use of multimeter and oscilloscope

Strong attitude for team work, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills; professionalism, quality attitude and strong motivation.
