Job Purpose:
Assist R&D Department with R&D activities to generate innovative new products for The Pizza Company Thailand and International Franchise.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in development of specification chart, recipes, cogs, and operation procedures
- Coordinate testing of new products to ensure food safety in The Pizza Company Restaurants
- Coordinate with purchasing department for new ingredients & small ware specifications which relate to new product launch
- Assist with product training and operational food test to support R&D department
- Coordinate with training department to support developing manual & training material related to new product launch
- Seek and track for new ingredients or new ideas in market place
- Complete month global competitor analysis and present at internal NPD meetings
- Survey and track information about Competitor activities
- Involvement in kitchen activities to include assisting with process development and photographing for new product development, product testing and development
- Ensure completion of product folders, paperwork, signoff sheets, executive signatures, and cloud upload. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or above in Culinary Arts, Food Technology & Science, or related hospitality field.
- At least 5-6 year's experience in food related R&D, QSR, restaurant or foodservice retail industry would be advantage
- Fluent in English
- Passionate food person Innovative and able to apply to mass production.
- Basic food preparation ability
- Food sensory and cookery skills.
- Be self-motivated, a strong team player and able to work under pressure.
- Good command of English and computer literacy.
