Our client is a consulting firm specialising in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. They are part of a larger company and we are hiring for their Asia Pacific Team based in Singapore. Our client provides market data, business insights and custom research solutions to help medical device, life sciences and biotechnology firms understand their current and potential markets,devise go-to-market strategies and implement pragmatic and innovative solutions which tap into new growth opportunities. They have offices globally, with a mix of remote and in-person roles.
We are looking for exceptional candidates to join as Research Interns.
Research Interns

You will be equipped with key research skills and toolkits, and give you exposure to a variety of different projects. You will also have the opportunity to interact with stakeholders across the industry, including clinicians, key opinion leaders and industry experts. You will work with and be mentored by our industry-leading researchers, consultants and economists.
The role
The role kicks off with a structured induction to give you an overview of the fundamentals of the role, our business and the healthcare industry, introducing you to work across the teams, which are led by our experienced consultants.
As a Research Intern, you will be working closely with more senior consultants who will help you develop your research expertise, knowledge, and skills. This will help you advance your career to gain great experience too. You will be continually mentored to consolidate these new capabilities.
How you will contribute:
Manage a research grid for a specific project, collating information from various researchmethods and identifying data gaps
Perform desk research to identify related information and trends, build out initial markethypothesis and macro-level insights
Manage primary research, developing strong working relationships with research partners
Perform primary research, conducting in-depth interviews to probe for useful insights andto gap close research needs
Be involved in identifying gap-close methods, managing data completion
Be able to synthesize data inputs and industry insights from various sources into sensibleand rationalised strategic reports
We believe in equipping you so that you can progress quickly in our business. You will first become comfortable with our research methodologies. This will form the foundation of your work, before being introduced to our analysis frameworks and mastering a range of more technical consulting skills as you progress to Analyst. As you progress from Analyst to Associate you will begin to develop your client presentation and project management skills. As you move from Senior Associate towards Principal, we will help you become proficient in managing our client accounts and developing new business for us. We want you to progress quickly so we will focus on ensuring you have the right skills at each stage.
