S&OP Analyst who possesses the experience in, ordering, documents issuing, and inventory control to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in supporting aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE
This role is responsible for inventory management strategies and actions plans to ensure high level of accuracy, productivity and service, and examine existing procedures or opportunities to meet customer needs and company goal together with Regional functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization's objectives. In addition this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.
Qualifications
This person must possess a degree in Business Administration, Statistics or relevant degree. The below are additional pre-requisites:-
- Knowledge & experience in Planning & inventory control management and Multinational working experience will be an added advantage
- Proficient/Competent in Microsoft office program (Excel/Word) knowledge
- Ready to work in a fast pace, pressure and tight datelines environment
- Knowledge in ERP/MRP concepts, know-how (SAP/Oracle will be an added advantage)
- Talent attributes - proactive, take lead in related areas of responsibility for the country or when consulted. Responsible and reliable and possess high integrity when dealing with day to day job responsibility. Clear communication and follow-up skills are essential for this role.
Your Responsibilities
Work with direct and cross-functional teams to
implement and execute per global inventory strategy
Derive stocking policy between DC/Logistic/Supplier and
replenishment process to maintain optimum safety stock and to achieve intended global ITO targets
Weekly review of inventory status, supply & demand requirements, order health to ensure customer OTD met and optimum inventory holding
Communicate strategic goals, inventory management plans, initiatives and targets to sale ,customer service and Operation team
Inventory holding cost optimization through improvement activities
Quarterly and monthly
cycle of safety stock review & adjustment in system
Compliance to
item master maintenance
Monthly KPI update through aligned metrics
Drive and sustain
effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
The
S&OP Analysts specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:
Maximum 3 pointers per accountability
Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- Resolving problems or issues arising from daily procurement activities
- Follow up open POs with suppliers
Accountability #2: Process / Performance
- Update product lead time in system
- PR issuance to purchasing
- Clean up outstanding PRs and backorder details report
- Prepare monthly inventory & Forecast reports
- Report KPI indices
