Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our client's sales team within the adtech industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the adtech market, have established connections, and demonstrate a strong ability to identify targets and close deals. This role requires 6-10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the adtech sector.
  • Target Identification: Utilize industry knowledge and connections to identify high-potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Deal Closing: Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term business growth.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion within the adtech industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the adtech market, including key players, technologies, and trends.
  • Networking Skills: Strong existing network of industry contacts and the ability to build new relationships.
  • Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data and sales metrics to drive strategic decisions.
  • Leadership: Experience in leading and developing sales teams.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
